My Mississauga is headquarters to independent rock music this weekend. The Indie City Friday free concert series will open the weekend and will conclude with Kids' Superhero Sunday.

Demarbles, 7 p.m. - Rock out with Demarbles, an all-girl punk rock and reggae band from Mississauga and Oakville.
Killer Green, 7:35 p.m. – Enjoy the rock-ska-reggae quartet Killer Green, as they perform heartfelt lyrics, soaring vocals, radical guitar solos, and infectious grooves.
Dance Electric, 8:25 p.m. – A fiery foursome whose catchy punk dance and touch of explosive noise will blow audiences away.
The Salads, 9:15 p.m. – Canada's ambassadors of fun times, strong reggae vibes, and energetic live shows.

A day of fun in the sun for kids of all ages! Climb into a real police car, dress up in a superhero outfit for a chance to win a prize, and end the day with an evening movie.
Kick start your weekend on Thursday, at the City Centre, starting with music café at noon featuring David Leask, followed by yoga on the lawn at 6 p.m., and movies under the stars at 9 p.m.
